Alpha Xi Delta

Epsilon Kappa at Western Kentucky University

Chapter History

On April 1, 1967, the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was installed at Western Kentucky University. In the chapter’s first year, Epsilon Kappa dove right into WKU’s Greek community. In their report to National Council, the women shared they were in the process of practicing for Spring Sing, a tradition still held at WKU to this day! Alpha Xi Delta flourished on campus and gave the Fraternity and the WKU community many dedicated officers and leaders. Above is a photo of some Epsilon Kappa Chapter women in 1970.

Western Kentucky University and Alpha Xi Delta both have a rich tradition of inspiring young women to develop into knowledgeable and contributing citizens. We both place emphasis on organizational and campus leadership, service to the community and the alma mater, strong academic performance, and the unique support women can provide to each other.
